Information for asylum seekers living independently in municipalities
The Reception and Integration Agency for asylum seekers living in a location of their choice in Lithuania:
- Consultations and assistance are provided regarding employment, healthcare, and state-guaranteed legal aid, as well as issues related to professional development or retraining, education, housing search, preschool/pre-school education, and primary/basic/secondary/vocational education at the Vilnius Reception Centre (10B A. Jarosevicius st., Vilnius).
- Provides cash benefits equal to 10% and 60% of the state-supported income level for minor expenses and food, if catering services are not provided.
- Provides state-guaranteed legal aid.
- Enables the ordering of translation services in a language the applicant understands through “Vertis,” an information system for managing translation services developed and implemented by the Agency.
- Assesses vulnerability.
- Provides information about organizations that offer assistance to asylum seekers.
